AdvertisingPolicy
1. Separation of Advertising and Content
1.1 Advertising must not influence editorial decisions or editorial content. Advertisers or sponsors have no prior knowledge of the editorial content, and editors should not shape content to support advertising.
1.2 Advertising must be clearly distinguished from editorial content. Creative Engineering does not publish “advertisement” content; sponsored supplements must be clearly labeled.
1.3 Creative Engineering does not endorse any products or services advertised or promoted by sponsors in its publications.
1.4 Advertisers and sponsors have no control over search results on the Creative Engineering website, whether by keyword or topic.
2. Accepting Advertisements
Creative Engineering reserves the right to accept or reject any advertising or sponsorship proposal. Creative Engineering will provide an explanation for rejected proposals, and advertisers may modify their original submissions or submit alternative proposals.
3. Ad Placement
Creative Engineering has final authority over the placement of advertisements. Any placement terms in the advertising contract are considered requests only. Fixed placement is not guaranteed. If an advertisement exceeds Creative Engineering standard specifications, a request must be submitted to the editorial board, which will provide a full explanation and a final decision within three business days. 4. Right of Withdrawal
The Creative Project reserves the right to suspend or remove any accepted advertisement at its sole discretion, including at the request of the editor-in-chief or editorial team.
5. Compliance with Laws and Guidelines
All advertisements and products must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines of the country of presentation.
6. Submission Requirements
All advertisements must be submitted in a format accepted by the Creative Project. Advertisers must provide access to market authorization and a summary of product attributes when submitting their advertisements. Advertisements must clearly display the advertiser's trademarks or name.
7. Regulated Products and Compliance
For advertisements involving regulated industries or products (e.g., finance, education, healthcare), advertisers must ensure that the content complies with local laws and industry standards and provide relevant certifications or approvals where necessary. The editorial department may request additional materials or reject non-compliant advertisements.
8. Indemnification
The advertiser and advertising agency jointly and severally agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creative Engineering, its officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all costs (including legal fees), losses, claims, or suits arising out of or related to the publication of the advertisement, including but not limited to costs (including legal fees), losses, claims, or suits relating to defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, or plagiarism.
9. Payment Liability
Creative Engineering reserves the right to hold the advertiser and/or its agents jointly and severally liable for any overdue or unpaid amounts owed to Creative Engineering. Orders may be cancelled if payment is delayed for more than 30 days, or if the advertiser is bankrupt, insolvent, or subject to bankruptcy proceedings.
10. Regulatory Removal
Creative Engineering reserves the right to remove the advertisement immediately if any law enforcement agency, court, or government authority directs it to do so.
11. Limitation of Liability
Creative Engineering shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from display or printing errors in the advertisement.
12. Use of Trademarks or Copyrighted Material
Any website linking to Creative Engineering's trademarks or copyrighted material requires prior approval. Unauthorized links are prohibited.
13. Policy Changes
The Creative Project may modify these terms at any time; changes will not apply to advertisements submitted before the announcement date.
14. Non-Discrimination in Job Ads
All job advertisements must be non-discriminatory and comply with applicable laws. The Creative Project does not accept advertisements that discriminate based on gender, age, race, religion, marital status, or disability. Non-U.S. advertisers submitting job advertisements must provide written proof that they offer equal opportunity employment.
15. Overriding Conditions
In the event of any conflict between the conditions appearing on the order or copy description and this policy statement, the Creative Project policy shall prevail.
16. No Tracking
Advertisers are prohibited from using pixels, beacons, cookies, tracking tags, or similar technologies to collect personally identifiable information in their creative content.
